Spring is trying to arrive. I remain positive, even when the sky turns grey and overcast.

Looking back at last year, one of my fondest moments was finding the Robin in the Wisteria nesting outside my front door. I hope she returns again this year.

You may wonder why I love Interlaken Gardens so much. The location, 30 minutes from Manhattan and the property - with 44 acres built on what once was a tree farm, peace and quiet abounds. Right outside the entrance to my building, wisteria grows on both sides of the porch. On the right side, hidden within the leaves, resides a young robin and her nest. A wonderful site to come home to.

After Memorial Day and The Lake is open. The weather forecast for the weekend is mostly sunny with highs on Saturday predicted to be 94 and Sunday to be 93. Get out the sunblock and enjoy the lake.

Mid-February Thoughts of Spring

Mid-February and thoughts of Spring are dancing all around. New cooperative listings are slow this year.

A fair market value purchase price helps maintain the stability of the community and the future stability of your property value.

On a day when we are waking up to ice covered streets and rain, it is a bit difficult to look forward to sunny days on Lake Innisfree. The Lake Committee for Interlaken Gardens is busy planning events for the year. The next event on the calendar is the annual Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, March 16, 2008.

Residents of Interlaken are always welcome to join the Lake Committee. Contact me for details. Our next meeting will be Saturday, February 23.
